Head of HR . . .

Due to continued growth, STN is looking for a volunteer to manage Human Resources (HR) within the church. They will provide a service to the three strands that make up the structure. The Trust, The Trading Company and The Church. They will report to the Bursar and will be encouraged to build a team to fulfill all aspects of HR making the working environment a better place. This is a new position and an important one in ensuring that we are compliant with legislation and relevant to current methods of working. You will be the first point of contact for all HR related queries. Full Specification

Volunteer Receptionist ...

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 10am-1pm.

Do you enjoy welcoming and meeting new people? Do have a couple of hours to spare on weekday mornings? If you do, we are looking for people to cover the new STN Reception Area in The Mitre!

Jobs will include:

  • Being a ‘friendly face’ and first point of contact in the Reception Area.
  • Welcoming people who are arriving for meetings, answering questions and providing information about STN.
  • Answering the phone, taking messages and passing them on to the staff team.
  • Passing hall keys onto hirers.
  • Taking deliveries and post.
  • Helping with day-to-day administration tasks.

Even if you are a student and studying, you would be more than welcome to come and ‘man’ the desk whilst you work!

You will have access to the STN wifi and drinks from the Mitre!

Hall & Bookings Manager ...

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from 10am-1pm.

Jobs will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day bookings and administration of Earlham Road Hall and Grove Walk Hall for both internal and external users.
  • Promoting the Halls through publicity and advertising.
  • Developing the online Hall Booking System.
  • Giving feedback to finance and leadership teams on the use/hire of the Premises.
  • Working with the leadership team on introducing and updating policy and practice regarding the the hiring out of STN premises.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Commitment to the vision and aims of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong administration background.
  • Team Player with drive and initiative.
  • Ability to develop and implement new processes and procedures
