Parish statement on safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults

At STN we believe that every human being is made in the image of God and that we should honour everyone regardless of their age, capabilities, gender or ethnicity. We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk so that they are able to worship and grow in Christ safely.

We aim to do this in a coordinated and supported manner and follow the Safe Haven safeguarding advice and guidelines issued by the Diocese of Norwich.

Concerns about children, young people and adults at risk will be diligently and promptly responded to according to these procedures, recognising the sensitivity it may hold for those involved.

A member of the safeguarding team is the first person you should speak to if you have any concerns around the welfare of a child or adult at risk.
